 SUPPORT TEAM

Constantly “float” around the main event space, kitchen, restrooms and outdoors to assist anywhere an extra hand is needed and passing out waters. 

PHOTOGRAPHY/ PAPARAZZI TEAM

# people needed: 5-10

Take photographs and treat participants like honored guests and celebrities. Assist as a photographer or help photographers with their picture-taking duties. Help with lines, props, etc.

CROWNING/ AWARDS TEAM

# people needed: 10-15                                                    

Ask businesses to sponsor the pageant crowns, trophies and medals. We will order the awards in their name and list it on avaliable plaques. Assist in passing out awards. (Businesses will be offered VIP seating and a free ticket for the pageant.)  

GIFT BAGS AND GOODIES TEAM 

# people needed 10-15

Ask school student governments, restaurants and businesses to donate prizes, wrapped snack foods, coupons/discounts and other fun treats for each contestant to have a goodie bag. Make sure every contestant and escort gets a bag at the pageant. (Bags donated by Special Olympics Anderson Area 14.)

WELCOME TEAM

# people needed: 5-6

Welcome guests as they arrive, and help them find their way to the main event space, silent auction and restrooms.

AUCTION AND TICKET TEAM 

# people needed: 10-20

Ask businesses to sponsor a themed basket of their choice to auction at the pageant. Arrive at the designated time and assist in set-up team with the auction baskets. Sale Pageant tickets and encourage crowd to place a bid. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Anderson Area 14.

HAIR, MAKE-UP 

# people needed: 8-10

Arrive at the designated time to welcome each guest to a salon station for hair and makeup. Chat with them while you pamper them as you do their hair and/or makeup to make them feel special.

TITLE HOLDERS OR SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCES 

# people needed: 5- the more the merrier

Arrive at designated time with tile/crown/special position to sign autographs, take pictures and make the participants feel loved.
